When Shel (John Stamos), a gay party planner, agrees to organize his brother Ben’s (Eric Dane) wedding to Maggie (Bonnie Somerville), daughter of the Governor of Maine (James Brolin), Shel discovers
that Ben, as campaign manager, is behind the governor’s speech against gay marriage. Now, instead of planning Ben’s wedding, Shel decides to organize a strike for equal rights. As Shel’s strike gains attention and spreads nationwide, Ben’s upcoming nuptials get a tacky new planner. But the wedding might be off because the war is on as love, family and politics collide in the fresh romantic comedy Wedding Wars.
