Asteamy psychological thriller set in London over an intensely hot summer.

Ambitious Detective Constable Jay Pearson (Daniela Nardini) is working on the case of a serial rapist who is attacking women and leaving virtually no clues or forensic evidence. Tension rises in her department as the police are constantly frustrated in their efforts to track him down. Adding to this is the fact that Jay feels she is being sexually harassed by her boss, making her even more determined to prove herself and pursue the leads that he dismisses.

Jay’s life is additionally complicated by her sister, Ali (Sarah Parish). The two have always been rivals: Ali resents Jay’s career which prevented her from helping to nurse their dying mother; while single Jay is envious of Ali’s own success and contentment, and the strong relationship she has with new boyfriend, psychiatrist Oliver (Greg Wise). As Jay and Ali spend more time together in an attempt to strengthen their relationship, an inevitable attraction begins to develop between Jay and Oliver. Although she does her best to resist it, eventually they give in to the uncontrollable passion that consumes them.

Investigations into the identity of the serial rapist, lead police to a car spotted near the scene, giving them their most concrete lead. What ensues places Jay in an impossible situation both personally and professionally. Having to choose between professionalism and family ties, sibling loyalty and all consuming, mind-altering passion, Jay finds herself embroiled in a web of deceit and treachery, as the net tightens around the prime suspect.
