True story of 15 year old Alexandra Burris, an overweight teen still reeling from the death of her father and trying desperately to fit in high school. Unfortunately, her weight makes her a target at school.  To dull the pain, Allie turns to partying and class-cutting.  When Allie sarcastically, yet truthfully replies that she wants to be a homecoming queen, her best friend decides to try to make it happen.
